The League of Women Voters of San Luis Obispo County is partnering with the Pismo Beach Chamber of Commerce to moderate forums for candidates for Pismo Beach Mayor and City Council. The mayoral forum will be on Wednesday, September 30, 2026, from 6:00 to 7:30 pm and the city council forum on October 7, 2026, also from 6:00 to 7:30 pm. The forums will be held at the Pismo Beach City Council Chambers, 760 Mattie Road, in Pismo Beach. They will be livestreamed on SLO-Span by AGP Video and available for later viewing on SLO-Span and on the League’s YouTube channel.

Candidate forums provide the public with an opportunity to learn about the candidates and their views on the issues. Community members are encouraged to attend the forum and to submit questions for the candidates at the forum. Questions should be on the issues and applicable to all candidates.
